In 2007, a bunch of lads in a motorcade got through APEC security by slapping a Canadian flag on the car and having dudes in suits & sunglasses jogging alongside. Then a lad dressed as Osama Bin Laden gets out and walks 10m from the hotel where Bush is staying.
Protesters in Peru burn US flags in lead up to the APEC summit.
If you're in Australia, you might remember the Chaser APEC stunts when APEC was in Sydney 2007. The Chaser was a political satirical group.
A bunch of lads in a motorcade got through APEC security by slapping a Canadian flag on the car and having security guards consisting of some dudes in suits and sunglasses jogging alongside the cars.
Then when they pass the last checkpoint, a lad dressed as Osama Bin Laden walks out of the car and strolls casually about 10m from the hotel where Bush is staying.
It's hilarious—a good old mockery of APEC. Watch it right here. You can also search up 'Chaser APEC' for videos.
